Their website advertises Free Consultation and No fee’s unless we win. I filled out the free consultation form online with my info and a summary of my case and the firm called me to set up my consult for Mar 3rd with Mr. Sutter. At that time, they informed me it would be $350 for the free consult as well as $350 for his hourly rate, and when I questioned them on what it states on their website, I was told that Mr. Sutter can only take so many contingency fee cases and he has too many right now. I was rightfully upset and expressed my disappointment about the false advertising, but I went forward with setting up the appointment and agreed to pay the $350. I received an email with my confirmation for my appointment and then 5 minutes later they cancelled my appointment saying Mr. Sutter won’t be able to help me with my case now and when I asked why, she said “he just can’t now” But 5 minutes ago he could? Clearly it was because I got upset and called them out on their false advertising. Real standup guy if he can’t even take responsibility for the misleading false advertising on his website and be understanding why a client would be upset.
