Michael Smith and Brittany Outten of the Smith Firm handled a very complicated real estate closing, that had been bungled by another law firm in Seaford, like true professionals. I was very impressed by Mike’s calm demeanor and willingness to get his hands dirty, staying cool and calm when we were all losing our minds in the conference room. Brittany is very professional and flexible.

Chad R. Lingenfelder, Esq. We dealt with Chad for my parents will and the sale of a portion of farm land. Chad did his job and completed the transactions. However, when it came time to receive our funds we patiently waited over a month. Called Chad asking where the check was. He said he would check into it. After another couple of weeks we called again to find out they (the front office) neglected to go to the post office to sign for our check and we then had to wait another week for it to clear the bank to get the check. It’s almost two months now waiting for a large amount of money. Chad then had the nerve to send my dad a $50 bill for calling the other lawyer asking where the check was. I informed the front office we wouldn’t be paying that particular bill for obvious reasons. Six months later Chad personally calls me and my father asking for the bill to be paid or he’ll send it to collections. He was downright rude and sarcastic in his communication with us. We won’t be using this firm again.
