After reading the other reviews, our opinion and experience with the Markel Firm is quite the contrary. We were on work compensation for 5 years. So 5 years of knowing Chris Markel has boiled down to nothing but a nightmare. He lied and deceived us was clearly out for himself. He has no integrity, he is everything but professional, and he had a hand in turning an accident at work into a lifetime of financial , physical, and emotional devastation. He is not compassionate or cares about your situation or where it ends up. He cares only about how your pain and suffering is going to ad another zero to his check. He will look you dead in the face and convince you everything is going to be OK. WE will never recover from the damage the Chris Markel firm had a hand in creating. We trusted him. He failed Maybe he should stick to traffic citations… who gets an attorney for that?
