My experience with Smith & Eulo was extremely disappointing. Before I hired them, I was given many promises about how my case would be handled. Most of my communication was with intake staff, not the attorney who would actually represent me. Once they received my payment, the level of communication changed dramatically.
My DMV case was, in my opinion, handled with a lack of diligence and communication. I was never informed about important DMV correspondence that required a response. I later learned about it only after requesting my file. Because of what happened, I lost the opportunity to have my DMV case heard and lost my driving privileges for 90 days.
When I asked for my client file, I did not receive it despite multiple requests. Instead, the firm refunded my DMV fee without my asking for a refund and notified me by text message that my representation had been terminated. This left me with little time to find another attorney.
I was also transferred to another attorney without improving my experience. Throughout the process, I felt ignored, unsupported, and treated unprofessionally. No one ever apologized or accepted responsibility for what I experienced.
My advice is to do your own due diligence before hiring this firm. Read reviews from multiple sources, ask detailed questions, and make sure you are comfortable with the attorney who will actually handle your case—not just the person you speak with during the intake process. Based on my personal experience, I would not hire this firm again or recommend it to others. I am pursuing my legal options regarding my representation.
