Our HOA board and Property Management Company uses them as “our”attorney. They don’t care about the homeowners who have to pay their fees from our operating funds on behalf of the incompetent board and property management company because that’s where all the money is. They just want their exorbitant fees paid. They’ve written me letters containing slander defamation based on no facts at all and have milked the homeowner’s for over $50,000 in attorney fees at the “board of managers” behest. Unethical is a putting it mildly

Our property manager employs Smith, Buss and Jacobs – particularly Domenick J. Tammaro, who has been an appallingly unprofessional nightmare in many of our interactions. (I’m retired finance, so I know well what’s legally acceptable, and what flies huge red flags.)

Not only did Domenick repeatedly ignore and refuse a basic demand letter a few years ago (to this day, not even bothering with a response) but at a very recent Board election, he verbally attacked a shareholder who was politely and gently informing him that another shareholder was having trouble entering the Zoom. To date, no apologies have been offered re: that shockingly nasty and hostile conduct. If THAT is the subpar level of employee which Smith Buss & Jacobs employs to represent them, I urge anyone considering using their firm to run the other way for ALL services.
