I do not recommend Riverside. My experience with Matt Crotty was negative and with Jessica Batey was disastrous. I had engaged the firm through a lawyer, who has now since left, so my case was handled by Jessica. The work was supposed to be minimal because she was paired with other counsel, who were lead. She initially expressed understanding and reviewed the case, and later, in my opinion, she freaked out because she did know what to do. Her role was only to advice on WA rules (as a lawyer who has passed the bar in WA, this is should be easy), but she was clueless. She kept saying she was now “confused” about her role as an obvious front because she likely did not know what to do. Contrary to our agreement, she also refused to engage other firm members for matters she did not know, and falsely claimed they could be busy, and that she was being asked to do more than required (she was not). Everything was literally written and given to her, she had to file it. I found Matt to be unhelpful when I tried to contact him, after which Jessica just bailed. Highly unreliable firm.

I retained Asti Gallina and Matt Mensik to represent myself and my company in a partnership dissolution and employment case. They came on late in the case and turned the whole thing around. They won some important motions for us and ultimately helped me and my company win at trial. Asti and Matt were professional and easy to talk to. Most importantly, they went above and beyond and made it clear that my case was their priority. They made my case feel as if it was their own. The other attorneys at Riverside Law Group could regularly be seen in the gallery taking notes, and providing insight. This was an incredibly comforting feeling. I would highly recommend Asti, Matt, and all of the attorneys at Riverside Law Group to anyone needing representation.
