This is a revision to a 5-star review that I left over a year ago. After leaving that review, I hired Jarrett for representation on a case that I was informed he was an expert in dealing with.

Well, based on the (total lack of) performance and thoughtfulness, I slowly learned that I was in terrible hands.

My experience with counsel was filled with inefficient communication (I am the one who was reaching out monthly for updates). Counsel rarely provides quality updates or makes any reasonable progress. There was evidence that should have been captured by a soil engineer as early as possible in my case, but due to Jarrett’s (lack of) guidance, we didn’t even have a conversation with an engineer until this very time-sensitive evidence had effectively vanished (moisture had evaporated after more than a year of waiting to get this engineer involved to capture samples). It took me months of asking for the engineer’s contact info before Jarrett finally coordinated a phone call with one. By this point, the most important evidence from our case had literally evaporated, and I was left with an immeasurable amount of disappointment. 

Hiring this firm was not only a total waste of my time and money, but also cost me invaluable evidence due to negligence when it came to a lack of thoughtful consideration from a so-called expert in what he was hired to tackle. Either there was intentional negligence, or my case just wasn’t important enough to focus on; not sure what happened here, but if I could go back, I would have never hired this firm.
