I cannot recommend attorney Laura Beth York. My experience with her during an incredibly stressful workers’ compensation claim was deeply disappointing due to a complete lack of communication, empathy, and professionalism. Throughout the process, she was either openly hostile or unhelpful. Instead of fighting for my best interests, she aggressively tried to pressure me to accept a lowball settlement offer. This insultingly low amount would not even cover my existing medical bills, let alone compensate for the year of lost income. I suffered or the lifelong pain and physical struggles I now have to live with. An attorney is supposed to be your advocate, but I felt like I was fighting against my own legal representation just to have my voice heard. If you want a lawyer who communicates transparently, treats you with respect, and actually fights for the compensation you deserve, look elsewhere!!!

She’s very professional and polite. No matter how many emails, text or phone messages that I leave her, she always returns them with a sense of urgency. Since she’s been dealing with my case I have always felt included in. I really appreciate the way she took the time to explain to me my options and allowing me to make my own decisions. I’m so grateful for her knowledge of her job and going out of her way to insure that I’m being informed on everything so that I’m doing what’s best for me in this situation.
