My wife and I were involved in an accident in January 2022, where we were rear-ended by another vehicle and pushed into the vehicle in front of us, while stopped at a red light. Our vehicle was totaled and both of us suffered multiple injuries, with my wife suffering the most from a broken toe and other injuries that continue to persist. The Monday following the accident, I attempted to call the insurance company for the at-fault party, but was unable to get anyone to take my call. I had heard that motor vehicle insurance companies were a nightmare to deal with, so I spoke with a friend and he highly recommended that we reach out to Garrett Murphy. We contacted Garrett and he had us come in that same week to discuss the accident, our injuries, and steps forward with assisting us in our liability claim with the insurance company of the at-fault party. We decided to hire Garrett at the meeting. He was a pleasure to work with and guided us through the entire process, handling all of the work himself. He reached out weekly to give us updates on the liability claim and to check on our injuries to make sure we were healing. Checking on our health on a weekly basis was above and beyond what I would expect an attorney to do, and was very impressed by this personal touch. Garret even assisted us with direction and advisement on how to handle our property damage claim, even though it was outside the scope of the liability claim. If I had questions or concerns, he was willing to take my calls and explain in a way that I understood, without me needing to have a law degree. After a few months of back-and-forth with the at-fault parties insurance company, Garrett was able to negotiate a settlement that was compensatory for the injuries we suffered in the accident. I feel that Garrett got us the best settlement that we could hope for and was not disappointed in the amount we received to cover our injuries.
