I am writing this review with absolute fury after dealing with Irubial Ferrer / Pioletti pioletti & Nichols on our bankruptcy case. This has been an unmitigated disaster caused almost entirely by his incompetence and total lack of communication.

Our bankruptcy should have been resolved long ago. Instead, because this attorney repeatedly failed to communicate with us, failed to file required documents, and failed to respond to court orders and deadlines, we have now been held in contempt of court TWICE. Yes, twice. The court is sanctioning us (the clients) because our own lawyer dropped the ball so badly. We provided him with every single document, email chains, texts, and confirmations proving we did our part — he simply didn’t act on it or even keep us informed.

When we confronted him about fixing the mess he created, he refused to “wiggle,” refused to request simple extensions, refused to file what needed to be filed, and basically left us hanging while the case drags on indefinitely. We have been left in the dark, stressed beyond belief, facing potential financial penalties and ongoing legal jeopardy all because our attorney couldn’t be bothered to do the bare minimum of his job.

I have never experienced such negligence in a professional. This isn’t just poor service — it’s malpractice that has directly harmed us. If you value your money, your peace of mind, and actually having your bankruptcy resolved without being dragged into contempt hearings, do not hire this man. Find someone who actually communicates and does the work.

We are now forced to deal with the consequences of his failures in open court, and we will be exposing the full record there. Potential clients: run the other way. This lawyer will cost you far more than his fees in stress, delays, and legal trouble

Exactly what I needed in a lawyer. Everyone I worked with there were kind and understanding and I felt like they always wanted to help anyway they could. I was able to reach out anytime to ask questions or get guidance. I truly appreciate everything they did for me.
