I fell down hard on the floor because I couldn’t see the step. My friend was holding the door for me and it was stated on the door to which I could not see. When I entered the store there was a vocalized warning saying watch your step watch your step repeating over and over. I looked up to see where it was coming from and bang. I fell on my hands and knees. My purse went flying and I got rug burn on my hand. I told the cashier that they should have bright tape so you would notice the step. She said they did but it fell off. She also told me people are tripping on the step all the time. They took my case and the insurance from the store was paying my medical bills.
Just last month I was called from the girl handling my case that the insurance company said everything was in place and they were not liable. If they were not liable then why did they start paying for my medical bills? I received some kind of kick back for the bills they had paid. $1400. And loose change. I sprain my neck and I believe it did some damage to my vagas nerve. Something shady is definitely going on. I am so tired of being taken advantage of.
