I hired this law firm to handle my divorce. Due to oversight and poor counsel on my attorney’s part, my ex husband was able to access and keep child support money for children that aren’t even his AND I had to pay my attorney to try to get only a portion of it returned. I should have been advised properly to secure my kids’ money OR not been charged money to fix the mistake. This was not my only disappointment with the firm, but I’ll just say I’d never recommend them to anyone going through a divorce.

I did not have a positive experience with Hanaway Ross while completing a commercial real estate transaction in 2021. In addition to poor response times, I believe there were mistakes and oversights throughout the process. The leadership at Hanaway Ross would not acknowledge any missteps, so I filed a grievance with the Office of Lawyer Regulation at the Supreme Court of Wisconsin. After their review, the Office of Lawyer Regulation determined that the services I received from Hanaway Ross “raised issues that were of concern” and it was necessary to provide “advice regarding ways to avoid similar problems in the future”. After this experience, I will not work with this firm again.
