I contacted this firm with a little more than a week before the statute of limitations was set to expire after attempting to settle an injury case on my own. After the initial evaluation the firm accepted my case and got to work right away. On a Sunday evening (with the statute running three days later on Wednesday) I received an email that they no longer wanted to represent me due to what they saw as weaknesses in my claim. I should mention that the liability was 100% clear in my auto accident with nearly $20k in damages to my vehicle. Additionally, I honestly answered all questions asked of me during the evaluation. After expressing how distressed I was in trying to figure how to file my own lawsuit because no other firm is going to take on a case with three days to file a suit (believe me I tried to find one!), Riah Greathouse agreed to file the complaint on my behalf and advised that I would need to represent myself. I am not sure what kind of attorney would cause such an undue amount of stress on a client by dropping them at the 11th hour, but it’s not the kind that I would recommend. And after his paralegal, John, told me what a low value dollar amount my case was worth I am happy to report that I was able to settle my claim…on my own…for WAY more than he said the insurance company would pay.
