The first lawyer I had was amazing, he kept me updated, always answered questions, and walked me through everything. When he left and Anita took over, I no longer got important updates such as: hey your income went up, so your payment needs to increase. There was at least 2 increases on my payments that I was never informed of and this made it look as if I wasn’t doing my part of the job. When we were close to payoff, I contacted them wanting to know what a complete payoff would look like. No one, not even the court, could tell me where I was. I overpaid by about $800 and it took 3 months to get a refund. After my bankruptcy was discharged, I found out that there were 3 liens against my property that they did not take care of properly. I was basically told I would have to pay them again and ask for my own dismissal. At least one of the liens had already been paid in the bankruptcy and they should have taken care of the paperwork. It was obvious that they got their money and I could go flip sand. They refused to take responsibility for their errors. I am now having to sue her to get those liens removed from my record and for the costs of getting them removed. There are better bankruptcy attorneys out there. Destiny and other paralegals were amazing, though!

Received flier for offer of “initial consultation is free”. Made an appointment and required to travel to their law office (old and dilapidated) 50 minutes away from my location. I am welcomed and asked to fill out a form, similar to a medical office. The form asked for my and my wife’;s social security number. I was taken back by this request as I/we don’t really know this law firm, we have no relationship, and they have not provided any value of their services. I completed the form without the social security numbers and they sent a (“junior”) lawyer out to inform that they required our social security numbers and needed to run a background check before they would even talk to me about their services and capabilities. This request is a fraudulent business practice, and one based on an assumption that potential clients are lying to them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS “SUPPOSED” LAW OFFICE! And don’t waste the gas in your car to drive to this dump.
