I left this situation permanently injured.
I see the five-star reviews, and based on my experience, I do not understand them. I didn’t lose my case, but I also did not feel like I had proper representation from this law firm.
I hired Kathryn Black in 2019 for a workers’ compensation case after being seriously injured. While I understand COVID-19 caused delays, what I experienced went far beyond that.
There were long periods of little to no communication. My checks were not consistent, and I often had to schedule my own medical appointments and report that information back to the firm. I repeatedly felt like I was managing my own case.
At one point, my attorney experienced a serious personal situation that, in my opinion, affected her ability to represent me. I was not informed of this at the time. Instead, I continued to experience lack of communication and delays while my condition worsened.
After surgery in 2021, I was unable to reach her for months. When I finally met with her, I came in with serious concerns and questions. That interaction did not feel professional, and I left feeling unheard and unsupported.
In 2022, I was advised to consider closing my case and use Soonercare to “fix myself.” After years of waiting for proper handling of my case, that was unacceptable to me, and I terminated representation.
I hired a new attorney to finish my case. Despite the issues I experienced, approximately $7,000 in fees were still paid. I requested a partial refund and did not receive a direct response. Instead, my new attorney received communication from another attorney associated with the firm stating that if I filed a complaint with the Oklahoma Bar Association, they would consider pursuing criminal action against me for what was described as “attempted blackmail.” I found that response intimidating and inappropriate.
As a result of how my case was handled, I had to independently pursue and confirm my diagnoses, which include:
C5 & C6 bulging discs
Bilateral carpal tunnel
Arthritis in my right clavicle
Right shoulder rotator cuff tendonitis with slap tear
Bilateral ulnar nerve entrapment
Severe lateral epicondylitis in both elbows
I also did not receive proper lifting restrictions upon release, which has affected my recovery.
I paid approximately $7,000 for representation and, based on my experience, did not receive the level of communication, support, or advocacy I expected.
Everything stated here reflects my personal experience, and I have documentation to support it.
Criminal attorney Trevor Reynolds refused to let my mother or I speak on a phonecall when we tried to establish service for a case my mother has. He just kept talking and wouldn’t allow either one of us to get a word in edgewise. After a final attempted interjection (we were trying to give him information he had asked for), Trevor Reynolds finally told my elderly, 74-year-old mother, who has a traumatic brain injury, to “shut up if she wanted his help” . Trevor also failed to respond to emails wherein we sent him case documents he requested, and Trevor gave an excuse about how it was his secretary’s fault. Before today, my mother was working on a probate case with FF&H attorney Maureen Johnson (who we both think is fine), but because of this awful experience with Trevor Reynolds, she no longer wants to work with anyone at this firm and plans on finding a new firm altogether.
I cannot stress enough what a life saver Frank Frasier has been for me.
My property was stolen by a moving company and used in a common fraud scheme. I thought I had lost my entire life after moving 800 miles away from Tulsa.
I felt helpless and couldn’t comprehend what had just happened to me and I was referred to Frank. Immediately he was like a glowing beam of light from the heavens for me. He acted quickly and with vigor against these scammers, and fought tooth and nail, alongside the dept of transportation to make sure I got my property and money back.
He was in constant communication with me, always prompt. No matter how much phone tag we played he always made sure to get ahold of me that very day and guided me through this in the most empathetic manner. I couldn’t have asked for anyone more genuine, caring, and steadfast than Frank Frasier to help me through this. After two of the longest months of my life I had all of my property and money back and I cannot thank this man enough for his efforts, time, and passion.
Do not hesitate to hire this absolute gem of a human being!!
Thank you so much Frank!!!
