We used this Law Firm for my son’s case, which was a big case. I believe the law firm did a good job once they assigned Sara S. to his case. Prior to her, when it was only Rick C., I didn’t feel like my son had a chance. I found Rick to be dishonest—he didn’t just lie once, but at least three times, and that’s when you lose all hope. My son’s case needed someone willing to do the legwork, and Rick C. is not that type of lawyer. He seems to prefer more straightforward cases. From the beginning, he wanted my son to take a 30-year plea, even though this wasn’t a murder trial or a sex trafficking case. When I had questions, he was always very short with me. Even up until the last day, he continued to be dishonest. On that day, he bluntly lied, and once the plea was finalized, he left the courtroom without saying a word. What I’m trying to say is that if Rick C. is assigned as your lawyer, it would be in your best interest to ask for someone else to represent you. I used the Law Firm out of Midland, Texas.
