If I could give -100 stars I would. The biggest regret of my life was hiring him (Douglas Gardner). I lost everything to my ex husband. No strategic direction. Bumbled his words and embarrassed me on the one call I had with my ex, his lawyer and court. I ended up (actually my dad) paying well over $20,000 for what should have been a very simple divorce. He rambled on about stories that were irrelevant to my case and charged me exorbitant fees while doing so. He talks a good game. But failed me and now my financial life is ruined because he didn’t help me get what I was entitled to and now I have over $75,000 in debt; no wedding ring and loss of DJ equipment I needed to make an income. I should have handled the divorce on my own. Pathetic.
