He saved me from accepting something I didn’t want to and my case was dropped.
I had Chris Lyons of copper star representing me since I could not use my own lawyer from out of state. Chris Lyons clearly wants to be a Prosecutor, so using him as a defense lawyer would be a huge Mistake. He never came to the court with any sort of plan, just wanted to wing it. Every time we talked on the phone Chris would say how low of a possibility of my case would be of even making it to court. Even if it did, no witnesses would show up. Of course the court processed and every witness showed up. At the start of trial we went to the back quickly he literally said to me and I quote “you told me that you did accidentally bump the phone out of her had, so what do you want me to do?” My reply, was “I want you to defend me” which he was completely put back by. I ended up needing to make my own personal statement to tell the judge how sorry I was for my mistake, how out of character it was for me and obviously found guilty. I would highly Not recommend for any defense situation.
