I went to Luke Evans to get my son back after my wife left me and the state and took him. Luke came highly recommended by a very well known federal defense attorney who is a friend of the family. I was told I’d be given an experienced lawyer but instead was given a lawyer with zero experience who won his first case months after being assigned to me. I was told the young lawyer was only there to handle my paperwork but as soon as negotiations started my primary lawyer disappeared and never returned. They told me so many things that were not true, sprung expenses on me me at last minute that were impossible to overcome (2 hours before mediation) and failed in negotiating a fair deal. I’m now in a more hopeless position than ever and they dropped me as a client due to financial challenges that they never gave me a chance to correct (which I sincerely believe is the only good thing that has happened since they were hired). They never made me feel valued as a client, their communication and filing of important documents was not up to my standard as files were lost and/or not read properly that I spent weeks putting together and worst of all they failed to make me feel secure in a successful outcome at any point.

0/10 would not recommend. Took my money after i knew i wouldnt get an offer. Screwed me out of 3500. And then said that i have to pay more after doing nothing. Complete trash. I never even met the lawyer i hired. Not 1 time. They had some green a$$ guy out of lawschool showing up who couldn’t hold water. If you have more than a speeding ticket check elsewhere this is a money hungry firm. 100% honesty on my review no emotions included just facts. SHOP ELSEWHERE.
