I had a deeply frustrating experience with Bria that I feel others should be aware of before trusting her with their personal injury case.
She held my case for approximately 21 months, during which time she repeatedly reassured me that she was committed to pursuing it and would not allow the statute of limitations deadline to become an issue. Based on those assurances, I trusted her to move the case forward appropriately and in a timely manner.
However, despite nearly two years of representation, she ultimately chose to drop my case with only about two months remaining before the statute of limitations expired. This left me in an extremely difficult position, with very limited time to secure new representation and protect my legal rights.
The most concerning part of this experience was not just the decision to withdraw, but the prolonged period of inaction combined with consistent reassurances that everything was under control. This created a false sense of security and ultimately put my case at serious risk.
I understand that attorneys may decide to withdraw from cases for various reasons, but doing so after such a long period–especially so close to a critical legal deadline–demonstrates a lack of professional responsibility and consideration for the client’s situation.
I would strongly advise others to carefully consider their options and maintain close oversight of their case timeline if choosing to work with this firm.
