I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Windsor Troy Law LLP. My son suffered a concussion with a brain bleed and continues to struggle with post concussion syndrome to this day. I trusted this firm to handle our case with the care and diligence it deserved, but instead, I was met with unprofessionalism, poor communication, and, ultimately, abandonment at a critical stage in the legal process.Show more
Despite having a conference scheduled for March 27th and working with them since November 2023, I was only informed about my case being reassigned to a new attorney two weeks ago. My previous attorneys left the firm in early January 2025, yet I was not informed of this change until just two weeks ago. When I finally spoke with the new reassigned attorney Mr. Alberto Daniel Ramos for the first time just a few days ago, he was dismissive and provided no real guidance. He told me to either reach out to my prior attorney, who had moved to another law firm in California, or consider representing myself, even offering to assist with paperwork. He claimed this would give me more control over the case but this information was entirely false since I legally cannot represent my son without an attorney. This was beyond frustrating, especially given how long they had been handling my case and my conference being less than two weeks away.
To make matters worse, they failed to properly serve defendants on time, and after mishandling this crucial step, they dropped my case less than two weeks before an important conference. After working with them for a year in a half to build this case, their last minute withdrawal left me scrambling to find new legal representation forcing me to juggle the overwhelming task of searching for a new attorney while still caring for my son’s recovery. On top of the stress of this case, I’ve had to continue taking him to countless therapy sessions, medical appointments, and evaluations for his head injury, all while trying to ensure he gets the justice he deserves. No parent should ever be put in this position, especially in a case as serious as this.
For a firm that claims to fight for their clients, their lack of commitment and accountability was shocking. Legal representation is an investment, and clients deserve to receive real value, timely communication, competent legal work, and above all, dedication to their case. Instead, I was left feeling abandoned and undervalued at a time when my son’s well being should have been the priority.
Their actions have been nothing short of unprofessional and negligent. When a child’s health and future are at stake, you expect your attorneys to fight for justice, not to abandon you at the last moment. If you are looking for a law firm that will truly advocate for you and your loved ones, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Coming from a parent who has been through so much over the past two years, this is beyond upsetting.
Come to them if you want the most out of your case and just know you will be in great hands.
No one wants to worry about a bad attorney when you are already going through a lot of stress. I am glad Alon did not have to put me through any stress and instead helped me distress the situation.
