Accidents Personal Injury Brain Injuries
02/25/2023 In August 2019 I was involved in a contactless motorcycle accident in Cottonwood Heights. It resulted in multiple injuries that required hospitalization and surgery. Because it was a contactless accident and had disputable liability, my insurance provider would not cover my medical expenses. I retained counsel to sue the insurer of the person I believed caused the accident. After initial investigation by my first attorney, he informed me that he was unwilling to pursue litigation based upon his lack of experience in these types of cases. However, he did refer me to George Tait (Utah Bike Law) whom he considered a better qualified professional to provide a second opinion about my accident. After an initial consultation George said he was willing to investigate further and let me know if he would be willing to take up litigation. After hearing my account of the circumstances and the purposed defendant’s account of the events George offered to retain my case. From the very beginning George was very clear that he promised no concise outcome to the case nor an affirmation of who was liable but did ask what I wished to see as a result of pursuing the situation. I informed him of my desired outcome, and he accounted to me his perception of what consequences where possible given the evidence available at that time. I felt that he was honest, truthful and unbiased in his assessment. After two years George and Blanca (his always diligent assistant) were able to provide me with a settlement offer from the defendant’s insurer that I had little hope of obtaining. Throughout the entire process I was always kept informed of the progress of my case with unsolicited promptness and transparency. In my opinion because of George’s experience and belief in my version of the events he was able to produce closure to my situation that was both fair and equitable on my behalf. I will always consider myself extremely fortunate that I was referred to his firm. Steven J. Berzansky
My husband was in a horrible motorcycle accident. We were lost with all the bills starting to come in. We called Utah Bike Law and George got us in immediately to see him. He walked through the process, explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions we had. George and his assistant Blanca helped us understand everything. They took the time with us and didn’t make us feel like a number. Very professional, knowledgeable and personable! I’m so thankful we had George to help us!! George, being a rider, I feel he understands the biking community and takes pride in helping everyone in it. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
Helped me with my motorcycle accident. Highly recommended
