The Levinson Firm was highly recommend to me, for my brother, in 2016. For the last 6 years the firm has been extremely helpful to me. In the beginning, Karla let me know about a document that was incorrectly drawn up by someone else for my brother. I was thankful that she rewrote this for him. Dawn Young is tremendously knowledgeable when it comes to Medicaid. If it hadn’t been for her, I don’t know that I would have been able to accomplish that myself. She has walked me through many things, including how to take care of some issues now that my brother has passed away. I would highly recommend seeking their help. You will be forever grateful!
I highly recommend The Levinson Firm. Dawn Young has be fantastic to work with during the Medicaid process. She took the time to answer any questions I might have and always answered my emails in a timely manner. I could not have done it without her or the Firm.
This firm played sides between family members adding even more friction to a difficult time for the family. Karla Levinson, specifically, withheld important information for our family to move through a difficult period during my mother’s death. She gave preferential treatment to a male member of the family who appeared later in the relationship and was not a sole point of contact. She then refused to share decisions with the beneficiaries, decisions made by her and that family member on my mother’s behalf, until she was compelled by me to do so. Separately, when the firm resigned as Trust Protector, the Levinson Firm dragged their feet to assign a new appointee. After several nudges over a period of months, Levinson finally got the job done, after some money and time were lost. Our family’s assets were small, so the account may have been “down prioritized.” I would not recommend this firm. Care and compassion for my family was most obvious during the time of Karl Levinson, the founder, when my mother first engaged with this firm.
