When I found myself needing a divorce attorney after 35 years of marriage, a friend referred me to Ronald Evans at Barnes & Diehl. I was never privy to our marital finances and investments. I had no clue where to start or what to ask for. Ron took the wheel and guided me through the whole process from what statements to get to what I feel I deserve after 35 years. He took every piece of information I could think of and literally let me relax and when he put all those years together, we met and he gave me a plan of what I most likely could get financially to live the rest of my life quite comfortably, and he made that happen! I have NEVER been treated with such kindness, understanding, honesty, professionalism, RESPECT in my life as he exhibited. He is the epitome of a true gentleman and scholar. He is always calm and listens to everything you say, when it comes time for the opposing side, he has no problem getting his point across and in a professional and firm manner. When we needed specialists in the forensic field of finances, he knows the best people to get! His staff are equally as knowledgeable and kind and professional as he is. Needless to say, he took the third worst experience of my life and made the transition as smooth and easy as possible. Today I am the happiest in my life as I have ever been, and I owe it all to him. I highly recommend Harris Leiner, especially for difficult divorces. Of all the lawyers I worked with, he was the one I wished I had hired first. He does amazing work. Most importantly, he empathized with my situation, kept me informed of developments in my case, and protected my assets from a former spouse who did not deserve them.
