Update: On Oct 24 2016 Sanders and his attorney John O’Donnell (the same __________ that he has used in his 6 year dispute over the refunds he owes me) filed a 27 Count defamation action against me in the DC Superior Court. 27 Counts! That’s like 27 different lawsuits. After one DC Superior Court Judge retired, the new Judge quickly dismissed all 27 Counts – all of them! with prejudice! in a preliminary hearing citing basic laws relating to statute of limitations, judicial privilege and ANTI SLAPP. All 27 Counts dismissed and with prejudice. HOO YAH!! Anyway, we now resume our regularly scheduled review. Have a nice day and a better tomorrow. Horrible experience! I hired Sanders in 2013 for a discrimination and retaliation action before the DC Superior Court. He was cited by opposing counsel for missed deadlines, he filed a second Motion to extend discovery deadlines, didn’t notice and schedule depositions of several key witnesses, was ignorant about an important bar rule governing his behavior. Even though I had given him a 50% contingency, after his disastrous representation ended, he tried to sue me in the Alexandria Circuit Court alleging fees owed. In an important ruling, the DC Superior Court held as follows: “Further, this Court is concerned by Defendant Sanders’s misinterpretation of the District of Columbia arbitration requirement, especially given that an attorney licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia should be aware of the D.C. Bar Rules to which he is subject. In an October 1, 2013 email, Sanders wrote to Farina, “There will be no arbitration in DC or anywhere. That program and other similar programs require the consent of all parties. I do not consent.” This statement was not accurate, and suggests that Sanders made an affirmative representation without actual knowledge.” Five years later, when he’s not trying to sue me, he’s sending abusive emails to my home. A total nightmare. Avoid at all costs!
