I witnessed the conduct of Sand Law Firm during a recent court case, and I feel compelled to share how deeply disturbing and unprofessional their behavior was. They were defending someone accused of a heinous crime, and when the verdict was read in their favor, their reaction was nothing short of appalling. The attorneys erupted in cheers, jumping and celebrating as if they had just won the Super Bowl—right in front of the victim’s grieving family.

This display was not only insensitive but downright disgraceful. Regardless of the outcome of a case, there is a level of decorum, empathy, and basic human decency that should be expected—especially in such emotionally charged and tragic circumstances. Their behavior showed a complete lack of respect for the pain and suffering endured by the victim’s loved ones.

I sincerely hope others consider the character and conduct of this firm before choosing to support or hire them. Legal victory should never come at the cost of compassion and professionalism.

I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle through an intersection and had to have surgery to repair my broken tibia. Metal was put in my leg to hold it together so the bone could grow back. Thomas Shand of Sand Law, LLC took my case on a percentage of the settlement basis and though there didn’t seem to be much available for a settlement, his work has gotten me a great result. I am very thankful to be able to rebuild my life more solid than ever before. It took awhile, but his phone contact with me was always professional and let me know where I stood and what was happening and left me reassured. I also got the feeling that he is very much on-call, though I hope I never inconvenienced him. I can’t imagine what all he had to do, but I am sure I couldn’t have done it myself. Personally, I also like that Sand Law LLC is big city. I once heard the difference between a homeless person or not is that the non-homeless person had a lawyer. Though it was probably a joke, I can believe that.
