Returning from a bicycle ride one Saturday afternoon, I was hit from behind by the driver of a SUV who tried to pass me on the left as I was making a left hand turn into my driveway. Fortunately, the crash was low speed and my injuries were mostly road rash. Although my new bike did not sustain frame damage, its components and saddle were badly scraped as well. After cleaning up, I gathered my bike and took it to the local shop from where it was purchased.
