Update: In December 2022, I took Pickard Law at their word and sent a private email to both Joe and Jay Pickard with additional information, documentation and specifics outlining what I felt was a fair outcome. It is now February 27, 2023 and I was not even given the courtesy and respect of a response. Once again Pickard Law has been most disappointing and is not concerned with looking at reasonable outcomes. It is easier to just ignore. I will never recommend this law firm and specifically Kevin Massaro. I hope this is helpful to someone. Below is my original review: I was most disappointed with my experience with Kevin Massaro at Pickard Law. I communicated more than once that I did not believe Kevin was concerned with the things that were important to me in my divorce proceedings. I paid a lot of money and did not even get to the point of the my financial spreadsheet being completed. When I would bring my concerns to Kevin he either deemed them not important enough to spend his hourly wage on – not his decision, didn’t communicate back to me – like the date scheduled for mediation – when I was going to be out of town – or labeled me emotional stating that was not helpful and to stop. Not the attorney I needed to be in my corner. Really frustrating and expensive lesson to learn. Hope this is helpful to someone.

Worst experience of my life with this law firm. Avoid them if at all possible. I’d give zero stars if I could

RUN FAST KEVIN MASSARO IS TAKING PEOPLES MONEY AND NOT DOING THE JOB, HE’S OFFENDED BECAUSE WE ASKED ABOUT BILLING DATES ON THE BILL AND CHARGES THAT MADE NO SENSE PRIOR TO HIS HIRE DATE.. FALSE CHARGING.. We wouldn’t even put one star but we had to mark something. We called to hire Joe Pickard referred by a friend, Kevin Massaro showed up to court for a termination case which everything was already taken care of all we wanted him to do was ask for no more continuance and speak the facts on our behalf cuz the case is already 2 1/2 yrs in. After court we asked questions his response was just keep doing what your doing then talked to us outside about his and his girlfriends life and charged us for it. He was charging us for calls 4 day’s before we even hired him. He was charging us for weekly meeting with everybody in his firm which made no sense. Charging for calls he said he made to other professionals in this case they said they never talked to him charging us for calls we never had. Told us he didn’t fight other lawyers in court cuz judges don’t like it, When we called to ask about a bill that made no sense he yelled at me and said he was offended because I’m questioning his bill he sent. We paid him $5000.00 what he said the case would cost he did nothing plus he added over $1400.00 plus. He said he would drop the $1400.. Why so easy to drop if that’s what I owed. (We really didn’t owe anything more).. Called to talk to Joe about this serious concern but as I knew he would have Kevin on speaker and he did and all Joe would say is there has to be trust between an attorney and a client and talked me into to staying after a week we noticed more false charges bill was getting bigger and bigger for no work being done. We asked him to withdraw from our case because he es making up false billing we have court in 2 weeks and no lawyer because he took our $5000.. that he knew we were borrowing and did absolutely nothing but make false charges on a bill. I will show the bill and dates we hired him and the false billing. He didn’t have to do anything cuz the county attorney did it all. In this case all he did is say one sentence in court “I agree with the other attorney your honor.” We see that we’re not the only one’s he did this to he’s known to take peoples money and not do the job or even care about people’s feelings. He didn’t even offer to give us some of our money back like he should’ve. He’s very unprofessional and only worries about taking people’s money with out completing the job. He’s now gonna respond with sorry you feel this way like he did nothing wrong he’s doing it to everybody.. Take your business to somebody who really cares about you and won’t steal your money.. PASS THIS FIRM UP!!..
