I not once met these people that I hired not once did they call me before I called them and requested a call back which they did do all that they took 25% of my money but they got my disability for me and for that I am grateful thank you Paul Baker and your Law Firm I would recommend you
At first, my disability process seemed like it would be easy, and without stress, or worry. But then, I started to not get any calls, even before my hearing, they never gave me a heads up, until it came in the mail. So I called them, to ask questions, and immediately felt like I was in the dark so to speak. Everyone that I have spoken to, are so nice and very pleasant. Then my lawyer finally calls me, and goes over how the hearing process with the lawyer, and the medical examiner, would be there, but then tells me that my medical records had still not came in. And the hearing was the very next day. Are you kidding me? It was a very nerve racking process, I’ve been a nervous wreck since my disability process started, which I am still kind of in. I have a rapidly deteriorating spine, a not so great heart, and among rheumatoid arthritis. I can’t sit, for over 8-10 minutes, and I can’t stand for over 6-7 minutes. So why just yesterday, received a letter from SSI stating that my hearing results are partially favorable? The judge didn’t agree with when I actually got hurt. How many hard workers hurt, and keep pushing on, because we don’t have a choice? I worked my butt off, to take care of my kids. But crazy as I sound, I’m relieved at the same time that I at least I got a partial, it’s better than getting a denial. I’m just curious about how the disability judge decides that I’m only partially going to get what I busted my butt for in construction for over 13 yrs, running equipment, shoveling, flagging traffic for hours and hours without a break. Then I started feeling bad, for a few weeks, and went to help a Forman out, because he was short a flagger that day, my back was literally on fire, and my legs hurt so bad, about mid of the day, I felt that I had to sit down, the second I sat down, pain in my lower back up to my neck, and my left arm, and both legs were absolutely killing me with the excruciating pain. I was hospitalized that day, and in for 5 days after. I did rehab, after that, and started feeling a lot better, and decided to resign from construction, and haul gasoline, and diesel fuel in a tanker. That was a great job, except for one thing, I can’t count how many times I was hurting so bad in my lower back, that I would have to pull over in between the gas stations that I was hauling fuel to. I don’t file for disability until 2 yrs of hurting, and being miserable and the hospital scare. I just don’t understand why the decision is partially favorable. I’m calling my attorney back today, and ask, should I just leave it at partial? Because I don’t want to aggravate the judge with another appeal. I don’t know, but I’m sure my lawyer will, he is a very intelligent, and kind man. So as far as my review on Paul Baker Law, I just wish this whole process went without the stress. They were all nice to me, and assured me that everything would be okay. Why am I still doubting? 🤦♀️
I highly recommend this firm. The staffs very friendly as well as knowledgeable making filing for disability easy
