Cathy McKay guided me through a complex divorce using the Collaborative model. It kept things from becoming acrimonious and made proceedings more productive. The only negative thing was that because the particulars of this case were not something that anyone on the team had dealt with before the attorneys assumed we were more familiar with the laws than they were and stepped back at a crucial time when they should have stepped up. However, both lawyers acknowledged the lessons were learned and they would be more focused in the future. I would recommend Cathy to anyone interested in a Collaborative Divorce.

For a divorce, Cathy is fantastic. She is responsive, thorough, and organized. She allows the client to lead their case in terms of what they are looking for. However she provides guidance and honest feedback. If Cathy cannot get the judge to rule in your favor, it is unlikely that another attorney could either. I highly recommend her.
