I am writing to formally caution the public regarding my experience with Josh, an attorney operating under Mountain State Attorney. As an individual who has engaged his legal services, it is my responsibility to share my experience so others can make informed decisions.

Josh was retained to provide legal services for my case. Despite charging for his representation, he failed to deliver on the promised services. There was a complete lack of action on my case, including a failure to properly file crucial evidence, which I had painstakingly gathered. When questioned, Josh described his inaction as “strategy,” which I found to be unsubstantiated and unprofessional.

Throughout the process, I encountered ongoing difficulties in securing meaningful communication or updates. Even after an unfavorable outcome in court, Josh remained unresponsive and unreachable. Additionally, he disclosed a conflicting personal relationship with opposing counsel, which cast serious doubts about the quality and impartiality of his representation.

Based on this experience, I urge members of the public to exercise extreme caution when considering legal services from Josh at Mountain State Attorney. I recommend seeking alternative legal counsel to ensure your interests are properly represented.

At many points in the proceedings I thought to myself “is this guy even a real lawyer”.

If you want to give them money and then never have them return calls then use them to get absolutely nothing.

I hired Josh and after all of this is said and done. It was by far a terrible decision I made. He didn’t return any of my calls or showed up to any schedule appointments. He would call me the day of court or an hour before court. I would write months of emails, text message, and voicemail to talk about the matter. None of it was returned. He didn’t do much for me at all. I would’ve gotten the same results if I pleaded guilty at the arraignment. Hiring him put me in the hole. No communication or any talks of plea agreements or whatever.
