This is honesty. If you’re thinking of choosing Montoya Law read this. This is not an angry review nor is it because i recently had a bad experience with Montoya Law. In fact, I’m still with Montoya Law and even though things have been going fairly smooth with my case things could be better. By things I mean communication. There’s no problem with reaching out to Montoya Law. When you give them a ring, they answer right away and it’s typically a man asking for the reason you’re calling today. I’ve tried reaching my case worker several times in regards to my case but I’m going to be fair here and not just say that she doesn’t reach back to me because she does. She emailed me back actually within a day and told me she would get back to me with an answer to a question I had. However, it’s been 6 days since I heard from her. It’s not like I’m sitting and waiting either but I’m also not bugging like crazy. I called once (not gonna lie and say I called several times)— but I did call once this morning about 15 mins after they opened, and I was told she’s busy and would call me back but she never did. No big deal, I understand they may be busy. Honestly, this case worker is very helpful and kind and when I do have her on the line, she helps me as best as she can. HERE COMES THE HONESTY— This is not my first case worker I had here. This is my 3rd case worker. Without any explanation, my case worker has been changed 3 times since I have been with Montoya Law. Is this a big deal? No, not really. But it’s very frustrating when attempting to reach out to your case worker just to find out they are no longer on your case anymore. As I said, it’s the communication. Doctor visit/ appointments— Montoya Law makes it easy and simple. They set Dr. appointments near you. No complaints. Just do your part and show up. Simple. No excuses. MORE HONESTY— I called over 5 different law firms before deciding to stick with Montoya. The reason why I chose Montoya is because when I spoke with Ruben (the man in charge aka boss man) he sounded like one of those cool uncles that makes you feel like you’re going to be taken care of so I went with my gut and I don’t regret my decision. BUT I would appreciate better communication from whoever is working on my case. I understand the nature of the jobs that lawyers take on and there are more than likely hundreds of people, just like me, waiting to get an answer back and she’s busy with her job and what she needs to do including running things smoothly and she probably doesn’t have time to remember to call me back or answer a simple question. However, it feels very inconsiderate. It gets frustrating not being answered or being told you’ll get a call and never do. This is just my experience so far and it hasn’t been a bad one it’s been going well. I just want better communication. Being with Montoya has lifted a bunch of weight off my shoulders. There was a time where I was stressed and crammed up in medical bills and fortunately, I was able to get on the phone with Ruben and he took care of me and got me straightened out. I’m good now and I’m looking forward to finishing my case strong with Montoya law I just needed to write a review on my experience SO FAR.
