My fiancé and I were in a very stressful and time sensitive situation when we started searching for an attorney to advise and assist us in getting custody of my stepson. We called the Mierendorf Law office, and they told us we could come in immediately and fill out the necessary paperwork for the assessment. From there, they would schedule a meeting for us to sit down with Mr. Mierendorf and decide if we wanted to retain him. The meeting was scheduled very quickly, which was appreciated as we were staying a few hours from home, close to Friend of The Court and wanted to get it taken care of before driving back home for work. My fiancé went into the meeting and came out thoroughly satisfied and confident with Mr. Mierendorf, and we retained him the following day. The next four months, though, still stressful, were a lot easier with Mr. Mierendorf and his team standing with us. They were all communicative, kind, understanding, and extremely helpful. They went above and beyond what was expected of them, and we are forever grateful to them all for everything. The end result of the custody situation ended in our favor with the child living where he wanted to be. Four months later, we are very happy to have chosen Mierendorf Law.
