TOTAL SCAM!! Do not waste your money.

My husband and I hired Claire after having a bad experience with another Abilene attorney , Claire assured us that she would be able to help my husband with his custody case. After months and months of unreturned phone calls and messages the paralegal tells My husband he needs to pay more money !! 🤦🏽‍♀️ 7,500K gone and no help , months without seeing his son and Claire could care less about helping him. She also told us she charges us a HIGHER RETAINER BECAUSE SHE HAD TO DEAL WITH CORY CLEMENTS another Abilene attorney.

Come to find out we were told her and Cory are actually really close friends so she’s just literally scamming people.

Her job is clearly about taking peoples money and NOT helping her clients. She surely doesn’t care about the best interest for any child either.

My husband fired her and found someone else.

I could write more but I’ll save it. If you google other reviews there are hundreds of terribly experiences just like ours. Stay away from this company.

While no one wants to go through a divorce, I would say that if it does happen, use Claire Mehaffey and her team. They were very understanding of my situation and did not judge me. They are a compassionate group of folks who deeply care for their clients. They were supportive of me and even helped me with resources for my mental health as I was going through this tough time. Of special note was Claire’s legal aide, Kayla. She is an amazing person who helped me navigate this process and ensured that I was doing okay throughout. She was always there when I needed any sort of assistance or support. I could rely on her for anything.

I am very grateful for Mandy and Mehaffey & Watson Law Office. If I didn’t have have them helping me I don’t know what I would have done. If you need any help whatsoever with your estate, this is the place you need to call!!
