I have a 20 + years workers comp case started with Mastagny and still with them because once you start with a law firm I been told you cannot change attorney. It shouldn’t be a work comp case either they gave me bad advice right the beginning. Unfortunately I been cheated with my settlement too they didn’t represent me right but I didn’t really care for the money I was in pain and I had to deal with my boss at the same time too as she wanted to fire me because of the workers comp case. I wanted to get back on my feet. Unfortunately I’m disabled now for 13 years and they do nothing actually they don’t even help me get my medications and treatments approved/authorized they don’t returning my calls they telling me to get paperwork from my doctor although it sent to them every time they want me to do their work but then they don’t want to make appointment and sit down with me in the office so I can show them what’s going on. They are appealing the denied meds and treatments without my doctor’s notes that is necessary to support the appeal and to have the IMR know the medical condition for the decision. No wonder the decision upholds. There been many mistakes from the Ins company such us wrong body part wrong procedure and this law firm attorneys don’t even care. They keep telling me it’s nothing they can do and I better to settle out that is for lot less money again. They are not for my best interest. If you have workers compensation case you run away from this company as far as you can. They don’t deserve even 1 star. They make me feel like I’m worthless but I know better. I know my life is worth to fight for and I deserve to have quality life. I have to deal with lots of health issues and pain I don’t need to fight my attorney too. This company at least their work comp department is useless if I wouldn’t have representation I could contact the adjuster myself and could have result faster and then wouldn’t have all the mistakes and miscommunications as it happened and they always asking me to get paperwork and coordinate things anyway so it’s better if I do it without them. I found out that I can still change attorney and I can reopen my case that they don’t want to do. The only option they gave me is settle out other than that they don’t want to do anything else. They made it clear if I don’t settle they will not do a damn thing for me. If you have workers comp case RUN RUN RUN away from this law firm and don’t look back.
