Highly recommend! Professional & amazing service!
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this man. I wish he would put the same effort at defending his clients, as he does at defending himself from reviews. Mr. Ortiz is a liar, a misogynist, an elitist, a morally corrupted lawyer, and overall an awful person. Any lawyer who puts private information about a client online, more so misconstrued statements about a minor, shouldn’t be trusted. I unfortunately met with him several times, in his office after my husband hired him, and all times were unpleasant and unproductive. I begged my husband to fire him because he didn’t want to interview school personnel and my son’s doctor. However, Mr. Ortiz was very good at convincing my husband not to. He claims we only met once, but he also contradicts this statement on his reply to my husband’s review (which he has edited to change the aggressive tone). Ruben made allegations about my behavior, but the truth is that he didn’t like that I (disabled veteran) asked questions and was smart enough to notice that he didn’t care about the case and was a lousy lawyer. Even a day before the jury selection (in his office), he didn’t bother to prepare us for trial because he had already made a deal with the prosecutor. We didn’t learn about this until we were in the courthouse. Mr. Ortiz was disrespectful towards me and refused to acknowledge my questions on that day. He pressured us to take the “deal”, and my husband accepted because Ortiz scared him with the length of a trial. I wish I had put my foot down and fired him on the spot. We were never happy about the outcome, and he never tried to contact us after. Moreover, I wish I had done research before paying him for his disservice. Attorneys like him only care about personal injury cases, where he can profit from. For more information, read reviews written by his former employees on indeed.com. He allegedly pays people to write positive reviews about him.
