I’m a Ironman triathlete, I have been hit by two motor vehicle in the last 10 years. Both time Clay represented me. In 2013 a driver ran a stop sign and struck me broadside, in 2020 a driver crossed the center line and turned left into me. Insurance companies are the worst!! In both cases Clay got me the maximum amount the driver was insured for! I He is very good at what he does and at this point I consider him a friend!
Clay Griessmeyer is a great attorney who really has his client’s best interest in mind and is a strong advocate for his clients. He represented us in a jury trial and really impressed us with his attention to detail and effectiveness in the courtroom. He put a human face on our case and did a great job helping the jury better understand the circumstances of our case.
October 20, 2010 while riding my road bike I was T-boned by an un-insured motorcyclist. My insurance company, a major player in Wisconsin policies, made me an offer that would not even cover the cost of my bike! I turned it down and within 20 days my insurance company dropped me, denied my claim and even claimed I was 100% at fault. Nonsense. I was hit in a bike lane. The un-insured motorcyclist was deemed 100% at fault by police and was given three tickets totaling over $800. As a result of my hospital admission I received many letters from the large personal injury law firms. I contacted most but they wanted to make a quick settlement which was in their best interest not mine. Thank god I was referred to Clayton Griessmeyer. Clay took the time to meet with my family, understand my auto and health care policies, my career, my pension, loss of income and future. Two surgeries and several months later I returned to work but the harassing calls from collections didn’t stop until Clay contacted them. Every case is very different and complex. Clay takes the time to know you and learn what each of us stands to lose. At the time of this writing it was twelve years ago that I was injured by an un-insured motorist. I have since retired. I thank my lucky stars often about how fortunate I was to choose Clayton Griessmeyer to represent me for the most important case of my future.
