My case should have been a “slam dunk” based on the strength of the evidence. After 3 years of the defense using denial, stall tactics, and refusals to cooperate, Janet Hocker suggest that we “settle” for 50 cents on the dollar. Brett Osborn, who handled the case early on and who left the practice, told me via email that he “didn’t want to take my case from the start” and that I probably could tell that from how he handled it. Absolutely true. If Janet were not a family friend, I would have submitted a formal complaint with the legal board, based on Brett’s admission in the email. Definitely DO NOT use this firm.
Do not trust this law firm especially Brett Osborne!!! Did no work,never called witnesses and gave information to the opposing side .He will talk about other clients cases in front of complete strangers. Hired this guy found out later he was friends with the person I was going up against father. Deliberately lost my case and then tried to set me up to try to hire him again. Total rip off . I suggest if anyone else has had issues with this guy to file a complaint with the state bar against him and this law firm which I have. This Guy is a clown and I hope no one else gets mislead .
Spoke with a woman there yesterday over the phone who told me a lawyer can’t get school records……told me I should do all the leg work…..then the lawyer would take it from there…..found another attorney immediately after that conversation that was immensely helpful and listened…;didn’t rush me….and of course I hired them
