I hired Daspit Law Firm and fired them the same day and they still had the nerve to try and claim 35% of my settlement just because I didn’t want to work with them anymore.

I emailed one of their attorneys to cancel representation right away. He didn’t respect that…I got four back-to-back calls and didn’t answer, so I emailed again confirming I was done.

Then the next day, I got a call from someone named John—and he came at me like a bulldozer. Yelling. Accusing me of lying. Threatening me, saying they’re “still getting 35%” no matter what. Refused to dissolve the contract. Just straight bullying. I was shocked.

I knew it was getting out of hand, so I started recording the call. The second it announced the call was being recorded, he switched up…then hung up. That tells you everything you need to know!

They hadn’t done any work on my case. Nothing!! Yet they still tried to intimidate me into staying. This is not a law firm…this is a scam with a letterhead!

I’m disgusted. Upset. And honestly grateful I got out before they did any damage. If you’re even thinking about working with them…don’t. This place is trash!

This law firm is totally trash out of $27,500. I only walked away with 8000 bucks. These people charge me 44%. I had three different attorneys. It took over a year to settle my case and I was rear ended. They took the legal fees out of my settlement instead of making the insurance pay for The legal fees, which is how it should’ve been they don’t really care about that clients they care about saving themselves money and they care about themselves. My attorney Cole, McLean Cameron torres totally trash, Jared Capps, the partner of the firm trash. Take it from me a lot of these reviews are fake. These people are not who they say they are. They are a bunch of crooks who do not care about their clients. I have a new attorney now working on a new case for me and it’s totally different. these people right here at desperate are a joke.

I hired these guys back in 2021 and boy do I regret it the attorneys were not communicating as they should they got way more money back than I did after my settlement case was finished they charged me 44% contingency fee they even got more money than the medical people I would never recommend this law firm to anyone they don’t care about the clients at least most attorneys want to see their clients walk away with more money these guys don’t care I had two or three different attorneys throughout the case I don’t like these guys at all I will never use them again
