Of the hundreds if not thousands of law firms I have been to while conducting business; my first experience at Darley law firm has become a core memory that I hold dearly to my heart. When I first walked into the office I smelled what can only be described as warm apple pie, a hint of library, and Calvin Klein CK1 cologne (wich is my favorite). There actually isn’t a library there but Mr. Darley is so smart and has read so many legal document to better perfect his craft, his office just continues to smell faintly of legal encyclopedias that he has spend days if not years memorizing. What i was so impressed with is that he doesn’t use this incredible amount of knowledge to try and humble anyone for thier lack of legal knowledge, but rather to gently guide them to a legal decision that makes perfect sense no matter the situation. His office manager Chassity: I cant prove this to be true but rumor has it that she retired as Alex Trevick’s personal tutor to teach legal theory and help remedy warranty deed problems in 3rd world countries. I believe it because her ability to create a warranty deed and security deed that is locktite has been tested in several courts and has upheld after rigorous trials. Cassie : simply amazing to work with. I hope that she never accepts any of the positions offered to her at those fancy schools because small towns need good paralegals too, not just Harvard and Brown, or Cornell. It’s rare but sometimes a legal situation arises that needs researchers like Cassie. The cake you get after closings or winning your trial: it melts in your mouth. It is undoubtedly made with love by someone’s grandma who only uses home processed flour from probably organic grown wheat. The icing is second to none, and the eggs are surely free range chicken eggs ( possibly quail) that are gathered respectively from the nest by the grandmother who puts all of her love into rolling the dough for a cake that is meant to be a once in a lifetime treat. It is a closely guarded secret and after eating I understand why. All in all, you will love it there and leave a changed person.
