Our family did contact the insurance carrier after my mother sustained catastrophic injuries from a fall, which led to her death, to see if we could resolve matter without having to retain an attorney. However, the insurance company quickly denied liability, so we sought out and retained counsel from the law firm of Crowe and Harris (fna as Crowe and Mulvey) as they had years of experience handling catastrophic claims in Massachusetts, including falls occurring in hospitals, nursing homes, etc.. It took a while from initial denial, due to legal discovery and delays due to Covid, but our mother’s wrongful death case did go to trial. Trial was supposed to take about 2 weeks. There were no guarantees that we would win. Thankfully, Mike Harris and Liz Mulvey did a spectacular job in presenting our case. Could not have asked for a more prepared and qualified trial team. After only a few days of trial, the defendants apparently saw the risk of our mother’s wrongful death case. A significant settlement offer was made and case has been resolved. Mike Harris and Liz Mulvey’s are incredible attorneys. Not many cases end up going to trial, but ours did, and they are the reason the case was successfully resolved.
very professional, they answered all my questions and were able to help me with a great settlement
Elizabeth Mulvey came highly recommended to me by another lawyer in their field of expertise. I found her to be compassionate, professional, thorough and very responsive to questions and communication. Our circumstance ultimately did not end with a medical malpractice suit. Her thorough review of the case demonstrated thoughtful and medically appropriate care for our loved one leaving us with peace and closure that they received good care for what was known at the time, and that they were medically managed appropriately. I would highly recommend Liz and her team.
