In August 2018 I was hit by an MTA bus in NYC while riding my bike to work. After my initial hospitalization, I called a lawyer friend to take my case. Justin took my case and we both had the misfortune of being delayed by Covid. The MTA had no incentive to settle, the courts were closed and then backed up and they could afford to wait it out. But Justin is persistent and thorough and eventually he scared them silly. We were all set to go to trial but right before jury selection the MTA caved under Justin’s relentlessness. We settled for a respectable amount. I have no doubt Justin would have won much more at trial but we decided we did not want to go through a lengthy appeal. He’s real he’s brutally honest and just as brutally effective.
