I have known Mark Black for over sixteen years. I feel lucky he was assigned to me to handle a very complex adverse possession case. This case required first hand knowledge of the land involved, the history of the previous owners and the dynamics of the County court system. This case took ten years to work its way through the court and be settled in my favor. Mark worked skillfully with surveyors, professional genealogist and foresters to prepare for the hearings. Each time a roadblock presented itself, Mark was persistent in developing solutions. He personally traveled to my home in Buckingham county and walked the trails and the boundaries of the land involved in the case. Mark continues to handle any land related litigation work when I need help. I highly recommend Mark . I hired Mark Black to represent me in my disability hearing. I think Mr. Black did well until he received his payment. SSA didn’t pay the backtime I was due which made my and Mr. Black’s checks smaller . I contacted him for advice on how both of us could get the rest we were due . I received no return call or email. My advice to you if you choose to hire him is make sure you have all your questions answered before checks are issued. I’ve been on my own for almost a year and haven’t known what to do and haven’t been paid what is owed.
