I was faced with a difficult Dissolution of a 12 yr marriage and my priorities were to move forward with reasonableness and dignity on my part. I wanted to settle out of court if possible. Nathan Klinger represented me in this matter and handled it with a great deal of professionalism as well as sensitivity to my needs and requests. He and his paralegal Debra Shuleeta were responsive to questions and timely in all our interactions. Debra was patient and helpful with the paperwork required by opposing counsel. As I add to the positive reviews on this site, I can report I found this team to act on my behalf with precision, knowledge, professionalism, and tenacity. They saved me over $100,000.00 the opposing attorney was asking for and we also settled out of court. Whenever I asked for something from the team, they acted with alacrity and equanimity. I was not always as “calm, cool, and collected” as my team was since the emotional hit I took after a 50-year marriage was staggering. Both men handled my distress appropriately and I thank them for it. I also want to thank Mr. Harder for occasionally joining our meetings and contributing his experience. I contacted Baxter Harder via their website to discuss options that might be available to me for legal matters. This was around Thanksgiving of 2022. I was contacted swiftly by an Intake Specialist who informed me that the person I need to speak with is out of the office for the week and will get in touch with me when they return. I did not get a response in over a week and reached back out to see if there were any opportunities to speak with someone. I again received a quick response stating that it was the holidays and there was a backlog, but they would ensure someone would get in touch with me. I still have yet to hear from anyone and it’s now the end of January 2023. I can appreciate being busy and having a backlog, but it’s quite unfortunate that I couldn’t even talk to someone to hear me out and guide me on next steps. Hopefully no one else receives this level of customer service, but I am sharing my experience in hopes that process might change to prevent this from occuring in the future.
