We employed Abdou Law Offices to buy a home in Bridgewater earlier this year. It was a complicated and unusual process in part because it was an estate sale that involved a house with recently financed solar panels. They brought a human touch and deft hand toward managing problems large and small. They’re kind, but strong and even tenacious when necessary, especially when a solar issue became a sticking point in closing. Throughout every step of the process, the Abdou team – supported by star paralegal Vanessa Barone – helped us achieve our goals. Tom and Vanessa were honest and upfront about the challenges of an estate sale. They kept us updated and kept meticulous records. They also made sure other players in the game – especially the solar company and other attorneys – played by fair rules. When it came to the challenge of our solar panel transfer, they worked tirelessly on our behalf to make the process move quicker and more smoothly. This included navigating contractural issues around the panels that almost created a giant headache for closing the deal. At a pivotal moment, Tom stepped in and made sure our agreement was effectively honored. We owe them thanks for their superb efforts then and across the entire months-long estate sale saga. When it came to closing, Tom and Vanessa revealed themselves to be collegial and warm people. As we sat in the room signing papers for a couple hours, they told stories of family and shared core memories about how special their families are to them. When we finally walked away with the keys to our place, we felt we had spent time with friends. We doubt many people can say the same in similar circumstances.
