Tes Richburg was born in Pyeongtaek, South Korea, and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. She graduated from the University of North Alabama in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Legal Studies at the age of 20. During college, she served as President and Captain of the Mock Trial Team and competed in national sales competitions. While interning with the Lauderdale County District Attorney’s Office, Tes also earned her Property and Casualty Insurance License.
After completing her undergraduate degree, Tes attended Mississippi College School of Law. There, she competed in moot court, reaching the finals of the 1L Opening Statement Competition, and spent her summers gaining experience with an insurance defense firm and the Mississippi Center for Justice. While in law school, Tes also worked closely with the team at Maggio Law, where she strengthened her commitment to advocating for injury victims. She graduated from law school in May 2022 at the age of 23.
